  2. Enter the information for the new lab:
  • Lab Number: [Suggestion: DE]
  • Lab Type / Course: [These fields are not going to matter but are required]
  • Number Required: [If there is a max number of distance hours allowed, enter that here or leave 0]
  • Description: [Suggestion: Distance Education Hours]

When entering the hours as a Lab Grade, enter the hours "attended" in the # Performed field.

Entering Hours as Lab Grades:

  1. Navigate to a Student’s Lab Grade page
  2. Enter the information for the lab as follows:
  • Date: [Date you are entering hours for]
  • Lab: [Select the TDE lab from the list]
  • Grade: [Leave as 0]
  • # Performed: [Enter the number of hours they received for that date]
  • Affects GPA: [Make sure that this box is Unchecked]

Once Saved, this lab will show up on their Transcript for you to reference how many of their total hours were completed as part of this Distance Education program. When looking at the transcript the Distance Education hours will appear in the Labs Section, notated by the Lab Name. The hours accrued for each date entered will appear separately with the total hours for that day under the "No. of Labs" column. The students total Distance Education Hours will be tracked under the "CumTot Lab No." column.
