Utilizing the Evaluation Report

The Evaluation Report is used to evaluate your students to make a game plan for the upcoming months.

When running the evaluation report you are asked to select two options; Active as of Date and the SAP Evaluation Rule.

The Active as of Date:

The date that you put in the Active as of Date field will show any student that will or has already hit an evaluation point that your school has set up in OnlineSMART.

The evaluation period for a program at your institution can be set up in the course tab of the administration section.

The SAP Evaluation Rule:

The SAP Evaluation Rule drop down gives you the option to select two types of evaluations; Evaluation by actual hours and Evaluation by scheduled hours.
The Evaluation by actual hours option will pull information on the students who have actually attended the number of hours specified by the evaluation point set up by your institution.
The Evaluation by scheduled hours option will pull information on students who are expected to hit the evaluation point based on the evaluation point that is set up by your institution.

A great way to track students that are approaching an evaluation period at your institution is the Approaching Evaluation notification located on the homepage of OnlineSMART.

The Approaching Evaluation notification lists all students who are within 24 Scheduled or Actual hours of their next evaluation point. Whether students are evaluated by scheduled or actual hours, for this notification, is determined by the SAP Evaluation Rule, which is located under Administration > Basic Setup > School Academics.
